Hang a mirror: take suitable mounting brackets
In order to fix a mirror to the wall properly, one must take into account its dimensions and its weight.
To hang a mirror weighing less than 10 kg on tiles or plaster, use needle hooks. Instead, equip yourself with screws or nails if you plan to place it with its frame or mount.
For a brick or concrete wall, equip special spikes or helical sockets. They can only support mirrors weighing less than 15 kg.
In addition, it is recommended to take more specific fixings such as cleats to fix a heavy mirror exceeding 20 kg.
You can also consider fixing a mirror on a smooth support, without drilling the wall; provided it is light and its dimensions do not exceed 70 x 70 cm, up to 4 mm thick. To do this, use double-sided adhesive tapes, ice flaps or special mirror glues.

Attacking the work of fixing the mirror
Once the location is chosen, you must first take the dimensions of your mirror. Draw markers and mark the mounting location. Install the mounting brackets and position the mirror so that the brackets are equidistant from the corners for optimal weight distribution. Finish the job by installing the covers on the support heads. If you took special glue or ice flaps to hang a mirror on the wall, make sure it is clean and degreased.
