Pink, rabbits and eggs are the essential elements for your Easter table decoration.

The stupidities of Fifi

Immerse yourself in the world of Easter with Sophie's table decoration, from the blog Les Bêtises de Fifi. She shows you how to achieve an original table decoration on the theme of Easter.

Decorate your Easter table without falling into the kitch? Do not worry, Côté Maison has found Sophie's pretty table from Les Bêtises de Fifi to inspire you. To celebrate Easter with family or friends, there is not only chocolate that counts, with some objects and a little imagination, the table decor also sets the mood. Sophie explains how she made her Easter table for three times nothing.

The stupidities of Fifi

Sophie: "Before I started setting up this table, I already had a strong desire for a colorful result, with soft, pastel shades and a few brighter and more sparkling touches to bring a little pep to the set. so started my composition by looking at what I had as table linen and as dishes at my disposal in my own closets.

The paper napkins with the motif "Easter bunny" were bought at Truffaut, and it was by putting them in the white plates that the result seemed to me too bland. I recycled the pink plastic plates of my birthday, found at Hema, to place them underneath and enhance the whole.

For my centerpiece, I used squares of plastic grass dotted with yellow and orange daisies on which I placed some multicolored butterflies to remind the spring and the beautiful days (one finds butterflies of the same kind in the creative leisure shops), and of course some chocolate eggs, which I specially chose the packaging according to the colors of my decoration.

The two bunches of flowers were composed with what was blooming in my garden that day, but I could very well have used daffodils or even tulips. It was once again to stay in the colors of my entire table. The two decorative chickens that are back to back come from an old collection from Maisons du Monde, and says Easter says necessarily chickens! So I thought they fit perfectly on this table, giving the illusion that they were the ones who placed small chocolate eggs placed in muffin boxes next to each plate. "
