How to keep wasps away naturally?

To keep wasps away from home without killing them or getting stung, many natural solutions are available to you. To keep them away from home naturally, burn ground coffee and not yet used in a small cup. Wasps are indeed horrified by the smell of coffee and the smoke released will make them flee. However, remember to repeat the operation regularly to prevent them from returning.

Another solution: essential oils. Mix in a sprayer 10 drops of lavender, lavandin or lemongrass essential oil, with 10 cl of water. Spray throughout the house and around you.

Finally, you can place a lemon or an orange peeled with cloves or just cloves on your table, the wasps will stay away.

Making wasp traps

To remedy wasp stings, eradicate them. To eliminate wasps, you can make traps from plastic bottles. For this, cut in half a bottle of water and pour syrup, honey or jam and a little water at the bottom of the bottle. Place the part with the neck upside down, like a funnel. Drawn by the sugar, the wasps will then enter the bottle and become trapped.

If the wasp is in a colony in a nest, avoid destroying the nest alone, the operation could prove very dangerous. Instead, call on a specialist.

Finally, if despite all your efforts, you are still stung, approach a heat source near the sting or take an antihistamine to reduce itching. In case of strong allergic reaction, go to the doctor as soon as possible or call Samu (15).
